Corporate Matching Program
Did you know…
- On average one in ten donors is matching gift eligible?
- Approximately 50% of the Fortune 500 companies have matching gift programs?
- In the 2007 Council for Aid to Education (CAE) survey, 749 institutions reported over $169 million in matching gift dollars?
Do you know your company may be willing to donate money to Friends of Audubon?
Many companies, large and small, private and public, have programs through which they will “match” the charitable contributions made by their employees. Through corporate gift matching, your employer can multiply your gift to FoA, making it go further, and at no additional cost to you! To quickly see if your company participates in corporate matching go to: http://www.matchinggift.com/uchicago/
How do I get started?
Check with your company’s Human Resources office to see if they offer gift matching. If your employer does offer this program, your Human Resources department should provide you with a matching gift form to send to Friends of Audubon (FoA) along with your donation. Complete this form and mail it with your donation to:
Friends of Audubon
Attention: Corporate Matching
3500 N. Hoyne Ave.
Chicago, IL 60618
Our Corporate Matching Team will verify receipt of your gift and return the form to your company for matching funds.
What If My Company Does Not Have A Corporate Matching Gift Program?
If your employer does not have an active matching program, it may be a good idea to suggest one to be started. Contact your Human Resources Department and find out how you can team up to help Audubon School.
Audubon donations that you may be currently paying that may qualify for corporate matching include: Kindergarten payments, Hawk Walk, Parent Parties, Spring Fling and many other donations.
Did you also know that currently, over 4300 companies and subsidiaries match volunteer time as well?
Friends of Audubon is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. Your donations are 100% tax deductible.
